Soulboard Marketplace License

1. Definitions

"Config" means an AI agent identity configuration file distributed through the Soulboard platform, including SOUL.md, AGENTS.md, and any associated metadata.

"Soulboard-original" means a Config created by Soulboard or submitted by contributors under this License.

"Modified Config" means a Config that has been changed from its original form, including changes to persona, instructions, constraints, or metadata.

"Distribute" means to make a Config available to any third party by any means, including publishing, sharing, selling, or deploying in a product used by others.

2. Grant of Rights

Subject to the terms of this License, Soulboard grants you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:

• Use any Soulboard-original Config for any lawful purpose, including commercial use
• Copy and distribute Configs in unmodified form, with attribution
• Modify Configs for your own use

3. Resubmission Requirement

If you Distribute a Modified Config, or use a Modified Config in a commercial product or service, you must resubmit the Modified Config to the Soulboard catalog within 30 days of first public distribution or first commercial use.

Resubmission is made via the Soulboard contributor submission process. Resubmitted configs are subject to Soulboard's content review and license verification process.

4. Attribution

Any distribution of a Config (modified or unmodified) must include the attribution text present in the Config's frontmatter or header comment, unchanged. You may not remove, alter, or obscure attribution information.

5. License Compatibility

You may not sublicense a Soulboard-original Config under a more restrictive license than this License. You may include a Soulboard Config in a collection or product under a different license, provided that the Config itself remains available under BML with attribution intact.

Open-source configs in the Soulboard catalog (MIT, Apache-2.0, CC-BY, CC0) remain under their original licenses. This License applies only to Soulboard-original configs.

6. No Warranty

Configs are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Soulboard makes no representation about the accuracy, fitness, security, or legal compliance of any Config. Use of any Config is at your own risk.

7. Termination

Your rights under this License terminate automatically if you fail to comply with its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all distribution of Soulboard-original Configs.
